Every week after the service, Christ Journey Church encourages members to join a ministry if they feel a calling in their heart. In response to that encouragement, I completed all required steps, including passing the mandatory background check and complying with additional requirements necessary to serve. However, despite meeting every requirement, I was left completely in the dark. Certain individuals within some ministries chose not to move forward with my participation, yet no explanation was provided no conversation, no feedback, nothing. This raises an important question: after someone has fully complied with all requirements, why are concerns or issues (if any) not addressed directly with the individual? On what basis are these decisions made appearance, past experiences, personal background, level of faith?. Are the Ministries in Christ Journey exclusively for some people, and not for others? I am genuinely asking: What would Jesus do in this situation? I do not recall Jesus rejecting people without explanation or refusing them the opportunity to grow, serve, or be restored. I believed Christ Journey Church to be a family-oriented church a place to congregate, to find truth, honesty, and love for one another. Sadly, that has not been my experience. As a result, I have made the decision to stop attending Christ Journey. Finally, after much searching I found the place for my worship, sharing and service to God, the creator of heaven and earth. Finding others that understand and work together to help one another is amazing. I am in for the "journey". If you need to connect to the Creator, this place will offer you patience and love as you embark on your "journey". Come as you are. I am so happy to have made the decision one sunday to attend this church because i haven’t missed one since. I love this church the praising, praying and ways they teach and guide is amazing really has helped my life in so many ways and will continue to. My family and I started attending Christ Journey around May of last year. We came from another church where we had been attending for quite a while, but we truly felt we were being called to leave and find another church home. Christ Journey has been that for us 100%. It has brought about healing, the people are so genuine, the preachings are taught in a way that is fresh and exciting while remaining whole and true, and the presence of God is felt in a way I’ve never seen at any church in Miami. This church has been a blessing to my family and I can’t wait to continue to grow in what God has for us! Also, if you have kids, they will absolutely LOVE CJ Kids! The time, consideration, and attention to detail taken with each craft, story, lesson, and event makes us so happy as parents and the kids love every second of it. ❤️ I love my Church community everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I love hearing Pastor Bill preach you should go by and see for yourself
