My family and I have been attending FCC for some time now, and I can honestly say it’s become a place we truly consider home. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and embraced by everyone. What stands out the most about FCC is the sense of community—it’s not just a church, it’s a family. We’ve made so many meaningful friendships here, and the connections we’ve formed have been a huge blessing. The people here genuinely care for each other, and it’s clear that the church’s leadership is committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels like they belong. Whether it's through small group gatherings, Sunday services, or church events, there are always opportunities to build relationships and grow spiritually alongside others. Our kids have also flourished in the children's ministry. It’s not just childcare; they’re learning and growing in their faith, and they love going to church every week. The youth program is active and engaging, which gives our teenagers a place to connect and grow in their own faith journey too. We feel incredibly blessed to be part of First Christian Church. It’s more than just a place of worship—it’s a community where we’ve grown spiritually, made lifelong friends, and found a sense of belonging! Very welcoming & friendly brothers & sister of God. I joined under Pastor Gary who welcomed me whole heatedly to FCC. I pray God richly bless the FCC family now & forever I had an uplifting Sunday morning at First Christian Church! The spacious setting was perfect for the powerful message from Pastor Jimmy Akers. He spoke about King David and how, from his rooftop, he saw Bathsheba and made a costly mistake. “The Lord sees the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7) was a key takeaway, reminding us that God’s perspective is different from ours. The service was a great reminder to stay humble and seek God’s guidance in all things. Highly recommend a visit for anyone looking for insightful teaching and a welcoming atmosphere! :) When I came to FCC, I had a good bit of church hurt I brought with me. My faith in Jesus never wavered, but my love for the ministry of the Church had been damaged. I see now that God has used this church and community to patch up that hurt I experienced. The staff truly support one other and the congregation through good times and bad. I feel that my soul is cared for, and I know that on bad days, people will be there to pray with me and uplift me out of the mire. I couldn’t ask for a better place to call home in Fort Myers and I’m glad that this church has embraced me! Good worship, solid biblical message, great demographics. Seems like a healthy church!
