From the first day I visited, I felt loved and accepted. The pastors genuinely care about people, and the church community is amazing. I’ve grown spiritually so much here. Always feel like you’re apart of a beautiful family at Discovery church. Been coming here almost 8 years now and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new church! Great Christmas carol celebration at Discovery Church. My daughter Debbie Soni was one the lead singers in this musical band. The decor was amazing. I cannot give this church good reviews at this time. My daughter and her husband attended one of the Orlando locations. At first I was praising God that they are finally attending church. Unfortunately, they started attending classes that taught my daughter that I was a terrible mother and should be avoided at all cost. The biggest problem I had was it taught her forgiveness is not actually biblical. I cannot give good reviews to a church that teaches its congregation to not forgive. I really enjoy the sermons especially when Don Cousins preaches and the worship team. I always enjoy young adult nights and the groups this church has to offer which provides opportunities to meet and connect with others building discipleships with one another. I think this church does that very well. However here's the reason I stopped going to Sunday services at this church. If you're reading this discovery then this is something that you need to be aware of and put in consideration. I understand that the one woman who preaches the sermons every now and then is on fire for Jesus and has the desire to share the word to others, and I'm not trying to talk down on her or be mean but the Bible makes it clear that "The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak. but are to subject themselves. just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church" 1 Corinthians 14:34-35. 1 Timothy 2:12-14 also makes that very clear. Some may think that it was a call from God for her to preach in church but be aware that "No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." 2 Corinthians 11:14 We need to look at scripture to really determine God's voice and whether it's a call from God or a lie from the enemy.
