I’ve been to churches all over the USA, & can honestly say this church has been my Family. Pastor Nate speaks only the truth, directly from scripture. His family is filled with the Holy Spirit & it shows in their teaching & singing. Sunday is my best day of the week because I know I am welcomed & loved at Movement. This church is what keeps me staying in this area. I’ve met the most wonderful people there & feel blessed. I’ve held off on writing about this for a couple years now, but after long consideration I’ve finally decided to document it. There was a Sunday service I came to with some male pastor (I don’t remember his name), but it was the fourth part in a multi-week story about David. The topic of sex came up, and slightly homosexuality, and the pastor spoke in a manner of wanting to agitate the youth by reinforcing traditional, anti-progressive ideals. I understand, it’s a church, and they have certain traditions, but the manner in which this particular pastor seemed delighted in the offense of the youth completely turned me off from this church. I never stepped foot in it again, and while I was recently looking for churches to go to, as I would like to return to a weekly service, something told me to submit this review, as a warning and hopefully a lesson for the pastor. Work in God’s name, and don’t be a jerk. I love this church!!!! You feel the holy spirit here. The staff is amazing. I love Pastor Nate and his wife Michelle. Tracy at the children’s ministry is wonderful. I found my home here!! Thank you Jesus!! ❤️✝️ This is my church home! The moment you walk in, you feel the incredible energy and love. The messages are always relevant and powerful, the people are so welcoming, and the pastor is amazing. I also love that there are three different service times on Sunday, which makes it easy to attend. If you're looking for a church that feels like family, this is it! From the first time I went to Movement, I knew I had found my community. During service you feel the Spirit working through even the hearts of the hardest stone, and bringing about the most amazing life changes. 4 years into being a member of the church, and my daughter and I have grown to truly know the Lord and have been baptized with this church family. There is something for every walk of life, whether the coffee addicts with the best Frappes or macchiatos at the coffee shop, Bible Study for working parents, Young Adults, Student Ministries (which the leaders of are beyond phenomenal), or the many outreach programs that the church is partnered with. I truly cannot recommend a better community, and church family to anyone searching.
