This is one of the most amazing groups of people I’ve ever been associated with all loving and kind the service from Pastor Nick and all the other pastors that lean in and spread the word of Jesus is nothing short of spectacular. If you haven’t been to a high energy service in the past or judgment and condemning is not part of the preach then come and enjoy the music and the energy and love that spread in this room. If you haven’t found Jesus yet I recommend you visit and receive eternal life. I grew up in southern baptist and non-denominational churches across Sarasota and Manatee County. Eventually the clickiness, weird vibes, creepy things going on under the surface at so many places I experienced ran me off from attending church all together. I spent 18yrs walking alone in my faith. Relocated for much of that time up north (unrelated). Then I moved back to FL and decided it was time to search until I found a real, genuine church to call home for my family. It took 3yrs. I looked everywhere. Tried several. Finally we found Southshore Community Church and I knew I was home. SCC is a center of Godly principles, Biblical study and real people with heart and deep roots in community enrichment. A congregation genuinely dedicated to including others in all directions and healing those who have been burned by other experiences. A place to TRULY come as you are. No judgement. No weird clicky vibes. Roll outta bed and walk in if you want. Or spend 2hrs getting ready and show up in your finest. Either way you're getting coffee, donuts and a warm smile at the door. Every message I've witnessed over the last year and a half (attending most every weekend) has been full of everything I've hoped for in a church for over 20yrs. I'm so thankful for SCC 💙🤍. We are the church!! After 25 years of practicing Judaism my husband I visited South Shore. I have been inspired at every service. The pastor is special. God gave me a pastor who speaks to me every Sunday! Every service ends with the pastor asking "Who is the church?" And the congregation replies "We are the church!" I'd love us to join this church soon. At Southshore community church attendees dont go to church they are the Church... They are believers and defenders of the Word of God.. Jesus Christ.. Dr . Pastor Nic Williams is also a acclaimed christian author and Amazon. Best seller.. South Shore is a great family church and also focuses on recovery as well for decades now.. Their celebrate Recovery has a positive track record with alot of community envolvement. Like other churches in our area Southshore is rooted in community. Great Bible based church. Pastor Nick is down to earth and inspiring. 3 Sunday services and now Thursday nights too! "At South Shore we don't just go to Church, we are the the Church, Go be the Church!"
