A few years back, I surprised my mom for Mother's Day by showing up to church at Countryside Christian South Tampa, after some not-so-subtle "hints" that she'd like me to attend church with her since my younger sister who always went with her, had moved to TX. I made it a few more occasions the remainder of the year like most "Christians" often tend to do (you know, the big Christian holidays). I later committed to making it to communion Sunday each month the following year. And did so. After that, for the following year, I made a commitment to myself that I'd attend service as often as I could. I haven't looked back since. I'm a dreamer and often dream of winning that big lottery jackpot and moving somewhere that's much, much cooler and doesn't exist under the threat of hurricanes. Now, it actually kind of hurts me to think about not being able to be at church with the amazing people I have come to love over the past few years. We have a saying: "Welcome Home." And it really is the only way I could describe Countryside Christian Church. I attend the South Tampa campus and have made it to the main campus in Clearwater. The people are all the same. They're all wonderful and welcoming. Our leadership are all kind, loving, welcoming, and caring. If I'm sick and can't make it to service, I can always watch the streaming service, but it just isn't the same. I am glad I surprised my mom for Mother's Day when I did. And I am proud to be a member of CCC. I even took the step to be baptized as an adult (I was baptized as a teen, because it was the "cool" thing). It was truly one of the most amazing experiences. Come home to Countryside Christian Church - South Tampa. Countryside is truly an amazing church. Our entire family loves it! Our toddlers love going to their classes and always ask if it’s church day. If your looking for a family friendly church that really live out what they believe you just found it. Countryside Sounth Tampa is truly a loving, helpful, and God-filled place. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed like family. The atmosphere is full of kindness and genuine care, and it's clear that the presence of God is at the center of everything they do. There are so many ways to get involved—whether it’s through small groups, outreach programs, worship teams, youth ministries, or volunteer opportunities, there’s something for everyone. It’s more than just a church; it’s a place to grow, serve, and belong. If you're looking for a church home where you can build real relationships and deepen your faith, Countryside Christian Church ST is a wonderful place to be. We first heard of Countryside when a chance meeting with a person in need spoke of their food pantry where he volunteered. We went to the South Tampa campus and were so warmly greeted that we felt like we were with family. We also found that the service was very accurately based on scripture, and very relevant to today's issues. The personalization with us, we realized, was the beginning of building a more personal relationship with Jesus. Clearly, landing on Countryside was not by chance! We love this church!!! Such a great experience for our family to have a place where we felt welcome from the moment we parked our car. Everyone is so welcoming and the atmosphere is great. You are greeted at the door by friendly people who not only make you feel welcome but make it a priority to provide your family with an amazing experience. Countryside South Tampa Campus has something for everyone in our family from childcare to youth group, adult groups and opportunities to serve at the church and in the community with their Helping Hands ministry. Ever since attending they have always provided an exceptional Bible based Godly message with a wonderful worship experience. Pastor Dan and his amazing staff were especially wonderful to me and my family and I would highly recommend this church to anyone who is looking to have a closer relationship with God. My wife and I whole heartedly believe that Countryside South Tampa can make a huge impact in your life and your families the same way it has for ours.
