A church is not a building, but its people and the people at TCC truly live their faith. It doesn't feel full of pretentious, social club members and instead feels vibrant and authentic with the spirit of love, hope, and committed faith in being Christ-like. I've attended this church off and on since I was a child. It has sound doctrine and teaching that is Bible based. There are a lot of families that attend. Great children's ministry! I'm proud to say it is my permanent church now and I am involved in it personally. It has it's faults like all churches but the main goal is loving God and loving others. My wife and our three children have been attending Tampa Covenant for about three years. We have found the members welcoming and friendly, the service traditional but not stuffy, and the use of the liturgy inspiring. For kids and teens, there are great activities and very caring staff. We could not be happier! My favourite place on earth. A modern cathedral. Beautiful symbolism, lovely architecture, and surprisingly good sound for a church. Beyond the building, the music is above par, rich words balanced with new and old songs & a skilled group of musicians. There are coral readings of scripture, literature, & creeds. The messages are rooted in scripture with supporting quotes from just about anyone. Additionally, the sermons are given in such a way that you can actually believe the speakers passed public speaking 101. Further, and possibly most surprising of all, the congregation seems to share a "we all are broken travellers trying to help each other" mindset. Sure, there are exceptions. Still, for the most part they seem to genuinely care "how are you?" And are will to actually listen for an answer instead of a greeting. In a world full of churches filled with people playing church, these people are more interested in being real. This is the Church I felt the presence of God Almighty! This where you can get a real sense of belonging as a family! In the church everyone connects as a family! There is a genuine Christianity practiced band real love demonstrated!
