My husband and I did our pre-marital counseling here with Ben and Julie when we first started attending Four Points… wow, they are amazing people! We are greatful to have had their leadership and advice going into marriage! Several years later, we still enjoy coming to Four Points on Sundays. Pastor is honest and Biblical based… we came here after leaving a huge church that sugar coated the truth because they were more worried about likes and follows on social media.. it’s so refreshing to see the TRUTH of Jesus preached! Praise the Lord! Experienced one of the worst sermons I’ve ever heard here today. I came here after reading the website saying that all things that are not biblical are up to you, and not preached about at church. So you can imagine my dismay when the guy preaching decides to sprinkle PLENTY of political opinions throughout his sermon. Not only did they disrespect the congregation and visitors by ignoring their own promises from their “Theology” section, but this guy was so worried about leveraging his platform to make political remarks, that he would rather t drive people away from the Lord than hold his tongue. The things he mentioned weren’t backed up by scripture; it was just topical post-election talking points. The messages here are also the same: “Jesus love you”. Yes, we all know that. Let’s try learning about HOW to live like him. It seems they’re more concerned with absolving their members’ guilt each Sunday than actually teaching them how to live as commanded. Extremely disappointed and generally disgusted at the guy preaching today. He should not have access to a microphone. My wife and I have been attending Four Points for about 8 years. We love that the church is committed to true gospel centered preaching, dissecting the Bible line by line, verse by verse of through books of the Bible. We lead a small group within the church and have great fellowship doing life with one another. If you want to dig deeply into the Word of God, this is the place for you. We attended here for several years. We moved to Florida last year. We miss this place and these people so very much. We have been unable to find a church that teaches the Bible with such passion and knowledge. We continue to watch online so that we are fed the word of God each week. Blessings to all!!! We are so grateful to be part of Four Points Church - it's been such a joy! We have been at Four Points for over 5 years, and it is definitely home. My relationship with the Lord has only deepened as we walk verse by verse through God's word. I didn't realize how hungry for the Word I was until I was really being fed. I hope you will join us; our fam would love to see you there! :)
