We love this church and the pastor Andy is just the best!! He is funny and makes the Bible relevant to today's life. Great groups and people are so welcoming!! Music is top notch can't help but feel the worship music!! I visited this church a few times over the course of a year, and a pattern became hard to ignore. Each visit felt less like spiritual guidance and more like emotional pressure. The pastor, Andy, often cried from the stage — first encouraging people to attend regularly and bring their kids, then crying for money to support various overseas missions, and later pleading for volunteers. The emotional intensity wasn’t inspiring; it felt manipulative. The moment that truly crossed a line for me was during one sermon when he said, “If you don’t want to be a volunteer, we need your seat.” Maybe he intended it as a joke or something he’d heard elsewhere, but it came across as rude, insensitive, and completely disconnected from the reality of why many people come to church. Some people attend because they’re hurting, seeking refuge, or simply trying to reconnect spiritually. Not everyone is ready — or able — to volunteer. A pastor should be mindful of the weight their words carry. Hearing statements like that made me feel the focus was more on filling roles and funding projects than offering genuine guidance or compassion. It’s not the kind of leadership I look for in a church. My faith has grown tremendously since we started coming to North Point. While a large church, getting involved in small group or one of the numerous groups like Starting Point, make a large church close. I am grateful for the community and limitless opportunities that have renewed my relationship with Christ and strengthened our family in every positive way. Beautiful repeating Christmas tree show with music every evening after dark, which can be watched from the comfort of your vehicle in the vast parking lot. Also take lovely pictures of your family in front of other lit up trees, which are automatically emailed or SMS to you immediately. Absolutely awesome church with incredible leadership. Pastor Andy Stanley is my favorite communicator. I had 15 members of my staff there for the DRIVE Conference. It was phenomenal!!!
