I’ve been attending Midtown Church for five years since moving to Atlanta, and it’s truly a blessing. I love the Bible-centered sermons, the thoughtfully organized discipleship groups, and most of all, the loving community. The brothers and sisters here are serious in their faith and incredibly welcoming. Midtown church genuinely feels like family to me. I started attending Midtown after many years away from church and trying a couple of churches in the area that had too much of a mega church feel. What I've found here is a small group of believers who earnestly strive to follow Christ. Time and time again, I've seen sermons, discussions, and decisions made from a Biblical standpoint that seek to honor God. The membership has been welcoming and kind. I'm excited to go to prayer and worship here. I look forward to it every Sunday. The friendships made here have been comforting and encouraging. I'm excited to become more involved and look forward to growing in my walk with Christ through the fellowship of Midtown. I’ve been attending this church for almost two years now and became a member last year. It’s truly a Bible preaching church with friendly and inviting people. It’s a small and tight knit community of people you can tell are following the Lord. I have truly come to love this church as my church home. I love Midtown Church because the sermons are preached straight from scripture one book of the Bible at a time. The people are very welcoming and friendly. There is a great sense of community and I am grateful for the various Bible studies and Life Groups that are available during the week. What we immediately found appealing was this church had a simple authenticity, focused on the Bible and it’s teaching. People were friendly and welcoming; we felt right at home. The preaching style takes a book of the Bible and starts at chapter 1 verse 1 and teaches to the end of the book. In our 2 years of attending, we have covered several books and it has been a tremendous education and blessing. Midtown Church is truly a blessing for anyone committed to learning God’s word and desiring to live out their faith with a body of similar believers.
