I love this church. They speak the truth and stick to the principles in the Bible. You can feel the holy spirit during worship and the pastors love for Jesus. It is a warm and inviting place and I appreciate everyone at this church thst give their time and service. I, my wife and my family have been tremendously blessed by Dr. Youssef, Paul Reeves, Connie Musselman, Bruce Cerbone, Slate Fluker - Cross currents staff, leaders and volunteers and countless other staff and members. Thank God for COTA Honestly, this church was a little cultish. I did enjoy the female male Bible study I was in about 2 years ago for 30 something’s, but I was disheartened when it broke up. They wanted to split it to all age groups within a particular gender, because the pastor felt “called” to do so.” Before it did, the pastor made some sermon about a woman who left her husband and became a literal Jewish universal Unitarian lesbian as some metaphor to being a godly woman. I also read the book he wrote about Peter and felt it was also cringey “God doesn’t want you to be yourself, he wants you to be better” (actual words) kind of Evangelical shaming. It was alarming and weird. I miss the people that I met, and the food but I’m glad I left it. One of those big small churches because of all the wonderful small groups and supports they hold. I enjoy their Wednesday $5 dinner then hour of power prayer from 6:15 to 7:15 pm. With Christians no longer being safe in this country, they hire police to protect that church and cameras everywhere. I have had more prayers answered by attending and participating in that church than I have anywhere else during my adult years. This is my Church, from far away New Jersey I feel part of this Church community. I highly appreciate the love this beautiful congregation have for the King Jesus Christ!! They honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with their heart! God bless and protect every member of this Church.
