This church is not friendly at all. We had not been to church in years and felt very unwelcome from the second we walked in. We were immediately sat in the back of the sanctuary because we had our children with us. We were being watched like hawks by the usher and the second my daughter made a single peep we were approached and asked to leave the sanctuary. I told him that my children were not being disruptive and that if we needed to step out we would, but for now we were okay. He basically gave us no choice and said we needed to leave and that we could go to their “family room.” He then called for another usher who came and sat right behind me with her arms crossed just staring at me. At this point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to leave. It felt like a huge red flag that a church could be so uninviting. Children are a blessing from the Lord and we choose to include our children in our lives. My children are very well behaved and there is a difference between a wailing kid who is being disruptive and one that is sitting quietly. Very very disappointed in this church and it resulted in us leaving and heading to 12 stone down the street which welcomed us and our children with wide open arms, apologizing for the experience we just endured. I felt really sad that we had such a bad experience with this church. I wish I could leave better feedback. I really like the pastor of this church and I think he does a very good job teaching God’s Word. But this is a mega church, and mega churches often have two problems: worship and fellowship. Victory Church borrows a lot of songs from Elevation, Hillsong, and Bethel. While no church is perfect, these aforementioned churches’ worship is rooted in theological heresy. Victory doesn’t need to borrow anyways. Their worship band, Victory House Worship, is great! Go check them out on Spotify! Anyways, the large setting of mega churches makes it hard to have fellowship with other believers in Christ. I was a part of the youth group here for close to two years, and I never felt like I was a part of anything. I think I am going to go to a different church from now on. I’m sorry, Victory. This is my home church, but when I visited here for the first time, I felt very much at home and welcomed by everyone that was volunteering or on staff. This is a great Bible Based Jesus church, the music is wonder, and the campus pastors are wonderful at delivering God's word in a correct way and in a way that truly makes you understand what Jesus is saying. Last night was my 1st time in YEARS since I been in Victory. I use to visit the other location in Norcross. But last night… Christmas Eve… God did something in me that I know I will never forget. To Mrs Cindy.. I love you!!! You took the time to listen to a woman that walked in still feeling somewhat broken and I left feeling a whole lot WHOLE! And to the pastor/brother who spoke to me on the phone the day before…. I’m home again!!! For the past few years, we have been attending this location for worship and community. We are a family of seven in total and our church has everything for everyone. From various prayer and worship offerings to community restoration and transformation as well as midweek prayer services. Our church is multicultural and offers church services in more than one language! Our location is handicap accessible, as well as child friendly 🥰
