What visitors say
I have been going to Infocus for a little over a year now. I must say I love my church. From them welcoming you from the visitors tent to just the amount of love they show. I’m glad I found Infocus. They also have different events for men, women and families throughout the year. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. This is a really special place. The people there are genuine and welcoming. I joined a woman’s connect group this last year and found the sweetest friends I could have ever asked for. The groups have deep and thorough discussions that leave you feeling more knowledgeable about the Bible and also wanting to learn more! Very thankful for this church and community there. Here I found much more than just a place I found a family. I’ve always felt supported, guided, and surrounded by love in every stage of my life. I’m truly grateful for this special community. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms in a very easy going atmosphere. Genuine connections and wanting to ensure we have all the information about ministries offered there. The service spoke to my husband and I both and it hit home with the season we are in currently . Will definitely be back next week. Thank you! I am extremely disappointed with my experience at InFocus Church. I reached out during a very difficult and vulnerable time in my life, seeking prayer, guidance, and support from the Pastor, deacons, and elders. After initially connecting, my follow-up was met with silence. A rescheduled meeting never materialized, and I was left feeling completely overlooked. Church leadership should be a source of care, accountability, and spiritual support; especially when someone is reaching out in need. Instead, I experienced what felt like neglect and a lack of genuine concern. It raised serious questions for me about how the church prioritizes its people. Their mission statement is to “Love God, Love People, Reach the World,” yet based on this experience, they have failed on all three accounts. That disconnect between what is preached and what is practiced is deeply concerning. I have also heard concerning feedback from others about leadership within this church, and unfortunately, my personal experience aligned with those concerns. It is disheartening when a place that is supposed to represent compassion and community falls short in such a meaningful way. I hope this feedback is used as an opportunity for reflection and improvement, because no one seeking help should feel ignored. The church should emphasize active care, willingness, and responsibility toward those who reach out. It reinforces that leadership is not just about preaching, but about showing up for people, especially in vulnerable moments.
