It’s powerful, it’s relevant, and it’s changing lives! Our family has truly loved being part of Fayette Family Church. We started attending shortly after the pandemic when we were in search of a new church home that was diverse and also felt like somewhere I would want my children to be. From the first day we attended, everyone was extremely welcoming and genuine. I can honestly say it feels like a true family. Pastor Young is spot on with his messages that are rooted in scripture and practical for our day-to-day challenges. This church has provided a space for my teenage son to really grow in his faith as well as my younger daughter to develop Godly friendships. What really stands out to me is the heart of the church. There is such a strong sense of community and a real desire to serve and love people. My family and I have been attending Fayette Family Church now for 5 years and we love it. The people are genuinely friendly and want you to grow. The Pastor is excellent and always seems to have a word that seems just for you when you hear it. The youth ministry is exciting and engaging and my son wants to go and learn more about Christ. The church family is from various backgrounds and ethnicities which is a good reflection of how Heaven is going to look when we get there... My family and I appreciate the acceptance and generosity and I'm sure you will too!!! See you at service soon!!! I've walked into many buildings on Sunday morning that are called "church". I wasn't until walking into this building did I truly understand; it's not the building, it's the people. When you walk in, expressions like "warm welcome" or "make yourself at home" make sense. My family and I were immediately greeted at the door and guided through the church, not just told where to go. It seemed as though it was one large family as I walked through the foyer. Before I could make it into the sanctuary, several members greeted me with a handshake and a smile. It's been a little over a year ago since this first interaction. Since then, I walk into this building every Sunday to know God a little more, find purpose in doing His will, and connecting with the people that showed me such love and hospitality as a guest. The building is great, but the people are the church! It is this church that makes a difference. I started going to this church about three months ago. I kept passing by it and decided to pop in one Sunday. I was immediately welcomed with warm welcome arms, followed up by a genuine service. I tend to be a very reserved person when I first attend places especially when I come alone so it was nice to be acknowledged but also slip off peacefully into my own little space on a row. The church is clean, everyone is friendly, they offer breakfast and it’s a great place for all ages. It was also very important for me that the messages are Holy Spirit led. If you a looking for a place that’s treats you like a (Christ-centered) family it is just that!
