Many years ago over 14 years I visited the church for Bible study it was like a midday Bible study, it was a lot of older people there. And I was there with a newborn baby. And those people gave me the worst look ever. I don't stay for the entire Bible study. It was only one person who spoke to me and that was just to get general information. So I am there, I was a single mom with a newborn baby and I was in the worst place ever in my life , and on top of that I was homeless and I was staying with a friend that lived by the church. Just wanted to be restored in my faith because I know I had sinned. And because the people like them I would never step foot in the church again. The most important thing I do have is a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and it have nothing to do with a building and snobbish people "who have never sinned." And I bet if the covers could come off of a lot of those people that was in that room that day I was there , and things could be revealed from their past they would not have been any better than I was at the time. It's called Mercy and Grace. From the moment my family walked in it was an amazing loving atmosphere. The service was phenomenal and to see Holy Spirit show up and show out was a beautiful experience. Even though the the Sr. Pastor or his wife didn't preach, their presence was definitely felt throughout the service. Thank you Lord for allowing me to have witness such a move of God when I thought it wasn't possible. The kids absolutely loved it as well and that they were in the main Sanctuary not even Children's Church. We will be returning! God bless Stronghold ministries! I was overcome by the friendliness and kindness of the leaders and congregation. It felt like I was in a safe place to call my spiritual home. Recently relocating from Florida, I felt compelled to join at my first service. The outreach is incredible and seeing so many men in ministry made me feel covered and comforted. Great ministry. I brought my sister the next Sunday and she was extremely blessed by the entire service. The senior pastor is on point and preaching the word with great revelation . Even though the church has gone through a transformation in leadership it’s still standing. Dr Ben has been transparent and accountable for his actions but continues to do the lords work and teach not preach. A place of healing. This church is amazing!! You can feel the Lord's presence in this place.. Dr Ben & Dr G are phenomenal. They truly are being lead by God. I have had so many miraculous and amazing things to happen in my life since I became a member here. Prayers are being answered for me that I have prayed for years. Thank You Lord for leading me to SCC. I know I have found my earthly home.
