Wow! Talk about people who actually care. Anchor church is filled with struggling people who strive to know the Lord and continue to encourage one another along the way. Pastor Matt has a passion for the community and preaches the Bible every Sunday. The music sung at Anchor is based on scripture and sometimes comes straight from the Bible. There is a variety of songs so it seems to me to have something for everyone. I have been going to Anchor for years and have enjoyed it tremendously. Is it perfect? No, but is it filled with genuine and authentic leaders and church members. I’m excited to see what the future will bring and I truly look forward to every Sunday. After the service, several church members hangout and talk afterwords because we all genuinely care about one another. When someone says they will pray for you, they mean it. I love God and am grateful that He put me at Anchor Church. If you don’t have a church home, please join us! I am a former member of Anchor Church, but I go back to visit because of the fellowship, love, and compassion I receive from everyone. Most importantly I always love hearing God message to me done so well by Pastor Matt their new and blessed Pastor. God is doing great things at Anchor Church! Our pastor preaches straight from the Word of God and we just recently finished a great series of messages from the gospel of John. We hear truth every time the word is preached and are encouraged to search the Scriptures ourselves and to spend much time in prayer. Our worship leader is a blessing, and truly leads us in worship, choosing only those songs that actually praise the Lord and build up the church body. The members of our church love Jesus and use that love to welcome all who come to visit. I can see the Lord working in individual lives, and in the body as a whole, and would highly recommend that if you are reading this review, you should come and check us out at Anchor Church! Pastor Matt Tipton is on fire for the Lord. He leads by example, loves the Lord, and loves people from all walks of life. Sermons are clearly backed by scripture. Anchors worship leader selects song that wonderfully tie in with the sermon topic. The Elders are committed Christ followers, and the congragation is very welcoming to visitors. Attending Anchor has been a very positive experience for my husband and I, so much so that we joined. We are thankful to be under great leadership, to feel connected, and loved. This is an exciting time to be part of Anchor. I am learning so much every week. Pastor Matt is insightful, convicting, and genuine. Music minister Matt is talented, worshipful, and humble. The congregation is learning to reach out and enfold with love and grace. I love being part of it.
