Pastor Courtney is dope. I love him and his preaching sinks in the depth of my heart. People are great and the the church somehow helps people from the country I come from. They build schools in very remote parts of Kenya. Not many churches so that even in Kenyan. God bless you Lead pastor, the congregation and all your leadership for being compassionate. This is what church is all about, Congregants, community and the world and you lead in this❤️. I just received the best Christmas gift: a beautiful Christmas Eve service. The room was so diverse—people from all walks of life and backgrounds, truly representing my community. We sang in three different languages, from rap to traditional hymns; sometimes in quiet reverence, other times standing up and dancing! The preaching was powerful and straight from the heart. It felt like a perfect representation of God’s people worshiping together. When i say this church is AMAZING. I just started going to this church and when i say i cried so hard because of what Pastor Court was talking and preaching about. I felt like i belong there. When i first walked into the worship center everyone welcomed me like i was a returning member. Anyone who wants to come to this church I highly support this decision Bets church ever! They teach straight from the Bible. Please bring a pen and notebook. Be prepared to be comfortable amongst a diverse group of people looking to strengthen their relationship with GOD. You may dress comfortably AND you will mot be forced to worship in any manner than your own. Did I mention they don’t pressure you to donate money. It a very brief mentioning of where you may leave tithe and/offerings but absolutely no pressure. It’s extremely family oriented/kid friendly. Love it 100 % If you're looking for a place to get a great word, to grow deeper in your relationship with the Lord, to learn, looking for community, a family like atmosphere...i could go on and on. Look no further! Cumberland Community Church is the place for you. I was hooked after just one visit and there's been no turning back. I love what the church stands for and that apart of their serving is actually done out in the Community. They not only love and support the adults, but they pour into the youth with their next generation. My toddlers love going to church and learning more about Jesus in a way that they can understand. They are growing right along with me and I couldn't be happier. I could write forever about how this Church has positively impacted my life, but I will end here. If any of that sounded good... give it a shot. It may take only 1 visit for you too. You'll never know though, unless you try.
