Visited Church of the Hill today for the first time and honestly had a really great experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and genuine from the moment I walked in. You can truly feel that this church cares about people and community. The sermon really stood out to me. It wasn’t just motivational speaking or religion for tradition’s sake — it was deep, practical, and centered on living a real life with Christ every day, not just on Sundays or holidays. The message about “sin’s gravity,” identity in Christ, forgiveness, and living a resurrected life every day was powerful and thoughtful. I also loved how they honored both mothers and graduating seniors during the service. It felt very personal, warm, and family-oriented. The worship team was great, the printed materials were beautifully organized, and overall the church felt alive, authentic, and full of grace. Definitely thankful I stopped here today. Best youth group in the area, fantastic children's program, and hands down friendliest church with an amazing message from the two wonderful pastors each week. They've handled this pandemic with grace and wisdom. I'm so happy to call this my church home for the last 20 years. My first time back since 20+ years ago! The sermon was great! Pastor and youth pastor introduced themselves, very friendly. Music was not so great. They took a while to get into a good rhythm and singing in tune. I was expecting something a bit more modern, upbeat, and contemporary. Covid has ruined the personalization of the whole church experience. I want to shake hands, converse, and hug but we can't😷. Overall, I had a good experience! Excellent place to gather to worship! Excellent pastor and people. Come feeling welcomed and plenty of stuff to involve your family. I have visited many time now with my fiance who is a member. Recently worshipped at Richmond Hill UMC while visiting my daughter. What a warm and welcoming church. If I lived closer, this would be my church!
