I love this church! North Rome Church of God is warm and feels like home. There is something for everybody, and everyone is welcome. The Pastor is great, and he teaches the Word. All of the various ministries are wonderful and seek to pour into you - no matter where you are in your journey with Christ. If you're looking for a place to grow in the Lord, try this church. You won't be disappointed! Oh my, there are no words that can truely express how amazing North Rome is. I started church seeking in February and decided to try out this church and I tell you it is the best church I have ever attended. I absolutely love this church. So much love and welcome here. The pastors are absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a wonderful church home this is a place where you can make yourself at home. God is good all the time! If you are looking for a church who loves Jesus, a Pastor that preaches the truth in love, and a place to call family, look no further! Worship is Jesus centered with a choir that knows how to open heaven and minister to Abba Father! We love our church! Best part they are not afraid of the Holy Ghost!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Last Saturday OF EVERY month has a big feeding fit everyone homeless the needy or the not so needy and a pantry to take home to the kids or family in the NEED. Great people awesome dancers and singers. The pastor is a riot and loves to please everyone even if you don't believe but will show you what believing can bring to the table of hunger. Keep the great work up!! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing The Rome Passion Play last night. Joey Powers was exceptional as Jesus. I hope he 'rises' to the opportunity to do so again next year. Although I had a less than perfect seat, it was tolerable simply by the fact that I was able to be close to the spectacular singing voice of Ahmed Hall. His performance was phenomenal! This was my very first time seeing this play. I urge everyone to plan on seeing it next year. Fair warning: arrive early and bring tissues. And be prepared. As stated: "This performance will change your life." ( or at least your outlook on it).
