What visitors say

Quiet a little out of the way, but well worth it. Stunning church with gorgeous stained glass windows. The gentleman from the historical society was so well informed, and happily shared his knowledge and passion for the church. We learned so much about its history and the people who contributed to it's existence. Highly recommend taking this little detour if you have an hour or so. No admission fee. Absolute treasure on the island. The warm glow of the stained glass fills the small structure and the grounds are wonderful for exploring. Cannot wait to go back! Make sure to check their website for open decent hours. Beautiful grounds and church has beautiful stained glass windows and a very interesting history. You can only enter the church while a docent is present 2-5 daily We went to photograph Christ Church Frederica last week on our recent photographic workshop to Jekyll and Saint Simons Island. Kathleen was our docent and she did a fantastic job giving us the history of the church. Very historical and very beautiful. The members of the congregation rotate the responsibility of staying on site to answer questions and so you can access the building. Fascinating architecture.
