Absolutely love this church! Been going here since I was a child. Ive never felt uncomfortable or out of place. The atmosphere is amazing and so welcoming. You don't have to dress fancy or anything which I think adds to the comfortability as well. This is our Church! We have been attending since 2019. My children and I were Baptized at Cap City. The entire Church staff is AMAZING! If you don't have a Church do yourself a favor and attend a service, Pastor Rick, Jared, and Brandon are the BEST! Grandkids had great fun at their Easter Egg Hunt. The volunteers were all very helpful and nice. I listened to the service online which I really enjoyed so I started coming in for service. I have a five month old, so I tried to put her in daycare and the daycare is overwhelmed with kids and not as many volunteers as I would feel comfortable with. So I tried to nurse my daughter in the designated nursing room which was very cramped and I end up missing the message the last three times I have come. Great church great people, but I am debating if I should just continue to watch online? Im not trying to be critical I just am a single mom so I really look forward to just having 40 minutes where I can focus on God and not feel so overwhelmed with responsibility This church is one of the best Bible preaching churches I have found in the Des Moines area. I never walk away feeling judge just loved and inspired. They are a God-fearing church and you can tell the moment you walk in. Every week they preach the truth directly from the Bible which I appreciate so much. I feel like we found our home church for many years to come.
