Cottage Grove Church (or "Cottage Cheese," as I affectionately refer to it) is the greatest church I have ever had the privilege of attending. The presence of God in this establishment is overwhelming, and its affect on the vivacious congregation is undeniable. The worship team is remarkably talented and notably modest; their performance is dedicated wholly toward praising the Lord. The sermons, preached by Pastors Recab Gray and Andy Norris are deeply profound and validly rooted in scripture. The body of attendees is very diverse, despite Iowa's majority white population. I could continue, but if you, the reader, wish to know more, I urge you to spend a Sunday morning there. It is a wonderful experience. I love my church home! I may be a little biased, but I think the welcome team is great! Pastor Andy and Pastor Rechab are both great. Adam White does an amazing job leading worship. And everyone who is apart of worship at cottage grove is amazing! Being born and raised a Catholic, I think I have found a new home. I love my Catholic church, but it's not fulfilling my needs. I live down the street from the Church, but due to illness, I can't walk that far. My son comes down every other weekend from Fort Dodge to take me. Very welcoming and they encourage you in your faith while challenging you to grow. We really enjoyed our time at Salt Company...excellent community for college students/young adults! So relaxed and welcoming. We love this church and we haven't been coming long. Looking forward to many more visits!
