I live in the neighborhood and wanted an open, caring church to go to. I walked in and immediately felt at home. There were people of all ages, all backgrounds, and all welcoming!!! The church embraces young families, divorced families, blended families, empty nesters, the LGBT community, senior citizens, young singles and all caring folks! The messages make sense to me, I love to sit and chat and have a free coffee and snack. I love the optional book study and adult education too!!! I enjoy the music, the children..... I can go on and on but suffice it to say, I became a member!!! I would highly recommend coming to this church for a visit soon 😀😀😀 Great service the parishioners who were at the church the Sunday I attended were very warm and welcoming. The pastor gave a good sermon. I really enjoyed the organ music that was nice it was also nice that the organist moved back and forth from the piano to the organ. The Sunday I attended was the Sunday after Christmas it was fun to have the pastor let us pick which Christmas songs we sang We visited this church on April 29 and have been telling friends about it ever since. Friendly welcoming people, a very personable minister with a meaningful sermon, an enjoyable choir and programs and activities focusing on interfaith collaboration, arts, loving all people including those most vulnerable. We were impressed and felt welcome and inspired. We’ll look forward to another visit. Grateful to be apart of this community of progressive Christians! A place you can feel accepted and grow in your spiritual walk, no matter where you are in your faith journey. Love it!
