Village Bible Church offers a friendly, warm atmosphere where people truly care for one another. Solid biblical teaching, a blend of traditional and contemporary music, as well as opportunities for all ages to grow in love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ are just a few of the reasons to check us out! We'd love to meet you. Consider this your invitation! This Marcelo person must be very mistaken about what church he is reviewing , village bible church is in my back yard and it is a very quiet place and there are no basketball hoops there not any kind of play area . I personally know Ray the pastor and he is a very friendly and amazing person. Village Bible Church has merged with Crossroads Community Church on Gary Ave in Carol Stream. We have a new look but you can expect the same friendly faces and warm greetings when you walk in the door! I should have been more specific in my previous post, my apologies. The nuisance factor that I was referring to is the large groups of young men that are somehow to allowed to loiter in the parking lot during non-service hours. Your neighbors should not have to tolerate the blaring car stereos, squealing tires caused by reckless drivers entering and exiting the property, open drug use, etc. It's become nearly impossible to even enjoy your own backyard in pleasant weather without having to endure the near constant yelling of racial slurs and other obscenities. Perhaps removing the basketball net and requesting regular patrols from the CSPD to disperse the crowds would be a much needed olive brach at this point. The situation has gotten wildly out of control in recent years and it's completely unnecessary. Carol Stream has no shortage of parks and recreational facilities within walking distance that are far more appropriate for these activities. Please consider instituting a good neighbor policy to alleviate these disturbances. Really enjoyed the friendly hospitable atmosphere, Pastor Tey preached the Word in a relatable way.
