Fabulous church! Great preaching and reverence for the Lord. Enjoyed worshiping Jesus with this congregation Today was my first visit!! I’m a Senior (like over 65) and I am so impressed with the young people in this Church and how friendly they were to me in welcoming me and taking the time to talk with me! That says a lot! The Word of God taught by the Pastor was strictly Biblical. The songs were uplifting and glorifying Jesus Christ, our Lord! I gotta go back next Sunday!!! To God be the Glory!! Update after 3+years: Several zip codes later, I still think of the faith community at ASCC and how the LORD used this experience for good in the life of a maturing young person. Not in the sense of respectable net worth or favorable BF% (think exercise science), or even satisfyingly low carbon emissions (if attaining such things garners in a person that which is thought to be adequate humanitarian performance clout among peers, colleagues and/or adversaries), but that which can’t be minimized or lost at any age (e.g., the right heavenly perspective: the fullness of God’s grace and assurance of salvation). I will be using a book, curated by brothers W and M in 2016, to facilitate a [Biblical] Bible study this evening. Thank you again for your faithfulness. ~~~ I've attended this church for over 3 years and have grown to have a deep appreciation for the people here. They are dear brothers and sisters devoted to the Lord. The Word that is preached is both biblical and accessible for anyone new to the faith. If you're in the city and looking for a warm community, with the personalities and wisdom from a mix of generations, this is the church I'd recommend. ASCC is a God centered, bible believeing, place where the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son is taught, and where a belief in him as your savior is the only way to God. I got acquainted with the ASCC years ago through friends when I was in their wedding party. I ended up joining some years after their wedding when we all returned to our relationship with Jesus Christ. The church community has always been friendly and inviting. Great church. Very friendly congregation. They also have a kids program that our 2 year old loves.
