Been coming to this church since I was 13yrs old and I love my pastors and the members of my church.when I first became a member of the men’s home at C.V.C. In the 80’s it taught me at a young age how to become responsible and discipline so the seed was planted a long time ago.im back at my church loving to hear the word and wanting more and I thank “GOD” that I was welcomed.🙏🏽 I came to CVC in 1987, my life was a mess. Pastor Fernando Rivas helped me tremendously. Many things transpired between last year and then(1987), but when re-dedicated my life to Christ. Pastor Fernando Rivas didn't turn back on me. Today he's still my Pastor. So greatful for Chicago Victory Church and Pastor Fernando and Pastor David and their families faithfulness. My life is not the same since I went into their women's home in 1999 til 2001. Thank you for showing me how to be honorable and faithful to Jesus ! Sincerely Dorothy OBrien Havey Born down the street, a south side brotha invited me to this crazy rock n roll testimony church in the 90s. I didn't believe in crying but sinner prayer got me. After a while arguing with my conscience, Jesus spoke Audibly in a alley with Love "I Know Your Works". Radically Transformed me Then Retired me to Texas but when I didn't want nothing to do with HIS abusive leaders & Big church politics, GOD spoke "Avoid evil People..like snakes" "where u gona go" & Again, "Nobody Putting Thier Hands To The Plow & Looking Back, Is Fit For The Kingdom Of GOD" 10 stars for your faithfulness, Because there's no quitters in Heaven I first came here in 1989 with a broke leg and my little boy, in fact, they came all the way to the Southside to pick us up. I didn't get right the first couple of times, but I thank God for Jesus using this ministry to work with me. Pastor Fernando has never lied, misled, misguided or misused me all the 30 something years I've known him. I'm not afraid to tell anybody how proud and grateful I am to be apart of this ministry. I've been healed from hep c and mental illness from constantly be under the message they preach "The Message of the Cross". If you're on game, if you looking to come up, you're absolutely right - this ain't the place for you!!!!! Because the only thing comes up around here is the name of Jesus!!!!! And for all you haters, this place was here for you when you needed it - while you bumpin your gums. One great thing about this country: if you don't like what you see, change the channel!!!!! Peace out💝💝💝💝
