Came with some friends, very nice church, good worship, pastor was pretty broad in his sermons, which i personally prefer more in depth sermons but it was still really good. Fantastic expositional preaching straight from the Word every week, and a diverse body of believers who are hungry for it. Pastor Joe Pace leads a superb music team The service was great. The preaching is understanding. The membership is very diverse. I was surprised to see that in Chicago on the south side of the city. I've been attending for 3+ years with my wife and kids. We have really enjoyed it - the worship and messages have been encouraging and God-honoring and the congregation is diverse and welcoming. I am very excited for the new building that will bless Chicago's South Side for decades to come. I have attended this church for the past 6 years while I’ve been getting my PhD at UChicago. It has provided an amazing young adult and post undergrad community for me during my studies. Everyone is so welcoming and there are many ways to get involved and build community with people of all ages and backgrounds!
