What visitors say

A welcoming community of good-hearted and giving people. Pastor Beth is so relatable and we love to hear her preach. Not talking about a church but as a Auditorium. My kids had their annual Christmas recital there for 2 years. The acoustic is great and the atmosphere is very good. Parking is hard since it is at Lincoln Park. I also found there is a shelter in the basement. Very interesting! The most welcoming church I've ever attended. Their mission is to be a true community and to live that out in the world. Their decades-long commitment to LGBTQ rights made me check them out, and I've continued to be impressed by their deciding to be a sanctuary church for immigrants. I was extremely disappointed how an employee treated me. I stood outside to wait for a friend and because i said i wasnt a part of an event that was going on at the moment, the man opened the door and said to leave. Not an inviting treatment to a newcomer!!! It's a beautiful church on the outside yet kind of disappointing inside. I was a member there until 1973. On Session.
