I moved to Chicago in July of 2019 and honestly the best church I have attended. From day one, I was welcomed as family and plugged into a small group right away. The people in my small group have become my closest friends and family. Also, pastor Danny is amazing! One of the kindest, most passionate and caring people I know. You will not regret coming to service I've been attending this church a month after they first opened here in the Logan Square area and my life has not been the same since. My family and I were welcomed in by everyone including the pastor, Danny Lopez and his wife Cyrene. I consider everyone here more like family because that's what it feels like, it feels like home. Members are warm and genuine and you can definitely feel the love and presence of Christ in their hugs prayers and service. Pastor Danny Lopez has such passion and love for God and His people. You can see the evidence of this in the way he shares the Gospel and the awesome way he teaches us through the Word and prayer, that we can have a more intimate relationship with Jesus. His strong conviction and intentionality challenges me and my family to apply the Word of God to our everyday lives. He is the real deal and I praise God for him and this church. I have been attending, New Life Community Church, Logan Square campus for a while and since day one, this powerful group of people (starting with Pastor Danny, his wife, the Hospitality Team, The Worship Team, The Greeters, to the congregation) not only made me feel welcomed but loved and genuinely cared for! For 3 years prior to coming to Logan Square campus, I belonged to another well known, Christian church on the Northside. Never really seen nor heard. No one knew my name. This was not the case in Logan Square. The presence of the Lord is clearly felt in this place. Pastor Danny is a true vessel used by God. I highly reccomend this place of worship to anyone looking for a church. You will walk away knowing you were in the right place. Bible believing church teaching how to develop a strong relationship with Christ. I visited this church and kept coming back. I joined Spring of 2019 and it's like home. Family atmosphere, friendly and welcoming members and a dynamic Pastor. The Pastor and his wife show genuine interest and compassion for all who come through the doors. After visiting a few churches for a few months last year we found New Life Logan Sq and immediately felt at home. I’ve never felt so seen and heard in a church the way I do here. The first moment I walked In I was greeted with a warm hug and a friendly smile. It felt as if we’ve been attending for years. We immediately joined a Small Group with a group of amazing talented people, they’ve become such a huge part of our lives and we haven’t even made a full year at NL yet! We had a hard holiday season with a loss in the family and Pastor Danny reached out to us via a phone call and led us in prayer, that was such an eye opening experience for us, to really see the Holy Spirit move in and throughout the church. I can’t wait to see all that New Life Logan Square will do for our community!
