What visitors say
This church was home for me in Chicago for 3 years and I never found more genuinely loving kind and compassionate followers of Jesus. Those who model what it truly means to serve and be the hands and feet of Christ in Humboldt Park. I was blessed to be surrounded by people of all ages and gender worshipping our Savior and spurred on to follow Christ! A great place to fellowship and call home 🤍 Attended this church last Sunday , & God knew this was my calling. I fell more than in love with this church. I love the energy and environment my sisters and brothers shared with me. The pastor and church community are very supportive and welcoming. It feels like being part of a big family. I also enjoy that the church is diverse - there are different individuals of race, age, gender, etc. it’s a great community to be part of! Simple and authentic. I attend another church but have visited here a few times, and have been blessed by the warmth, the teaching and the atmosphere. It is apparent that these people experience community with one another and are serious about living out discipleship. The pastor John LaTorre is the real deal. The congregation is fairly young and diverse. I would recommend New Life HP to anyone looking for a church home, or anyone seeking to know more about Jesus and Christianity. A wonderful and genuine community. The love this church has for people is so obvious and infectious. If you are looking for wise teaching, inspiring worship, and a place to be seen and welcomed in, you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to call home.
