I found a sincere family, friends and most importantly the Love of God reflected in many people here. This is a diverse place where we all come to worship and experience the love and presence of the Spirit of God. He always speaks to us through sermons and messages God conveys through our pastors, it's a fountain of life in this chaotic world we live in. This is a place to receive hope, healing, deliverance and God's richness available for everyone, no matter where you come from, where you are at right now or what your past might look like. This place is for the sick, the oppressed, the hopeless, the afflicted and the thirsty. Amazing place! I thank God for bringing me here and I hope that you let him lead you here too! My only feedback for the church is put the same effort into retaining, shepherding, and encouraging old members as you do new members. They need just as much as encouragement. It seemed to me- and I could be mistaken- that a huge emphasis is placed on recruiting but then there isn’t a good follow up system and people feel stuck, discouraged and they leave. Also- the church should actively try to reach out to people who were committed and have fallen back to find out why. I noticed the member turn over when I was going- now I understand. I enjoyed the services and they have a good kid’s ministry but for the deeper things of the Christian life- past becoming a member could use some prayer and improvement. My husband and I have been attending New Life for over two years now. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt like we belonged. New Life Rogers Park truly embodies the Gospel. If you’re looking for a community that represents Jesus Christ, we highly recommend this church. If you looking for perfect no church is perfect only Christ! This church is truly amazing and one of the main reasons we decided to stay in Chicago. It feels like more than just a community—it feels like family. A place where you can come as you are, encourage one another, and uplift each other. That’s what makes it so special to me! I love this church because it is a family. It was so welcoming. From the 1st time I walked in it walkall me will open arms greeted me what they hug I did not feel like a visitor. I felt more like a family member. amazing people sermon was awesome everyone is excited to see even if they don’t know you which I thought was weird at first but am fund the church 😇
