What visitors say

My kids sing in the choir at this church. The staff is friendly, kind and accommodating. They have lettuce stay and enjoy the service despite us not being members of their congregation. I have my usual Sunday night thing at this place. It's always a queen place and I was an election judge here once and I bet you the people that work here pretty nice. Seems like a nice place. If you have to do the Sunday night thing at 7 to 8 p.m. sometimes they leave us leftover sandwiches and food to eat from an event they might have had earlier on Sunday. They have the Sunday night thing called Discovery recovery for the friends that needed. And want it. So it's a nice basement meeting and good Fellowship down there. So you're welcome to come on in if you're a friend. This church has very rude council members and is not welcoming at all please go to any other church. The members will make you feel stupid for being there and if you aren’t their family they don’t want you there. Great mix of traditional hymns with the organ and contemporary music. Awesome pastoral Team with Jeff and Libby. Very kid friendly. Beautiful building. Comfortable pews. This church save my life. It was the late 60s and early 70s I grew up in the neighborhood down at 5517 North Christiana. A very rare situation back then as my family was a single mother family home wasn’t always very nice to me but not many knew that I had my sister and my mother there sometimes I felt like I didn’t belong or didn’t fit in. And having that kind of situation was unheard of a boy without a father and school so I used to get picked on a lot beat up a lot bullied a lot. Then one day these two guys Eric Hawkinson and Neil Dennis started sticking up for me and making sure I got home along with other friends they introduced me to the church and that was the first time since I moved there that I felt like I belong some place. They introduced me some new friends Bruce Johnson, Steve Johnson, Carl wiberg, Susan Bowland, Betsey Johnson, Sarah Edgar and so many more including a dear friend named Philip Anderson. These people made me feel like I belong somewhere the church made me feel like I belong somewhere. At an early age you don’t know how important that is especially when your life is so unstable and you think so many people hates you because you’re different. I knew that these were good friends I lost three of them at an early age Carl, Neil, Phillip, all three were great guys and I think about all three of them pretty often I don’t know why I just do I miss all those people I miss feeling like I belonged to somewhere but they did introduce me to God and I became a Christian songwriter got married had boys and I went to a horrible divorce where I lost everything. But I’ve always had God. I don’t have the answers to my life anymore I do know that there’s times I want to meet God pretty soon there’s other times I remember my friends and how they would look down on me for doing that. I’m homeless now but I’m okay it’s me and my puppy dog and we make it through as best we can I remember how this church save me I remember what’s a true friends I had and how they save me
