Ever since I moved to Chicago, Park Uptown has blessed me not only with a community but also a family. Going to church here has healed parts of me and strengthened my faith. The leaders within the church lead with a heart genuine to serve Christ and to point others towards him. I look forward to every Sunday to worship alongside them. This isn't just a church for me but a place I can call home. I'm grateful to be a part of it. To say this church is five stars is an understatement. I pray it can bless you as it has me. From the moment I started going here I have felt an overwhelming sense of welcome. There is a strong community and a deep faith not just in their words but in their works too. The preaching is solid and lets scripture speak first while we listen. PCC Uptown is dedicated to serving the community and I personally have participated in some great outreach and service projects with the church. Overall a great place to find community and belonging. I've truly been blessed to find a church near me with a heart as big as Park Uptown. From the enthusiastic pastors, uplifting worship band and vibrant community that gives back to the neighborhood — you'll feel welcome from your first visit. Come by if you're curious how faith can serve you or if you're simply new to the area. My wife and I have had the privilege of being a part of the Park Uptown church since May 2023 and it has been one of the best decisions of our lives. Prior to us joining the church, we had both moved to Chicago May 2022 and spent almost a year finding the right church for us. During our time a part of the church, we've both grown immensely in our faith and truly found community, along with comfort and peace rooted in our devout faith and love of Jesus Christ. This is the definition of a true church family, one that cares deeply about one another and is foundationally built on the word of God. This has created opportunities to not only grow in our faith with Sunday service, Men's & Women's bible studies/missional groups, but with the ability to serve and love the community of Uptown - and truly putting God's word into action. I cannot recommend Park Uptown enough - this is a church that has a ton of diverse backgrounds and folks at different stages in their walk with the Lord while truly loving all! When our church merged with Uptown ,I never imagined the amazing changes that would take place in my spiritual journey. Gracefully rooted friendships with each other and the community.
