The choir’s harmonies carried the entire nave, and the organ’s sound filled every corner—truly a concert for the soul. The deacon welcomed us with a warm smile and handed out a hand‑crafted faith guide that felt personal and thoughtful. Every corner of the sanctuary, from the stained‑glass to the oak pews, seemed lovingly maintained, making the visit feel like stepping into a living museum and a quiet retreat at once. This is one of the first churches to be rebuilt after the fire. The tower actually is prefire. The Cathedral has been exquisitely restored. I’m a cradle Episcopalian. I love the spirituality and beauty of the service. A new Dean was recently installed. Dean Lisa is literally a gift from God. Perhaps more importantly, the grace, love and welcoming spirit of Christ lives here. A refuge for us all in these strange times. Peace in Christ, Greg Everyone is welcome. This charming, historic church is open to visitors on most days. They offer a personal tour brochure. We attended their Easter service and were really impressed. Their service is very personal, and people seem genuinely friendly vs. a "Sunday smile." The pastor involves the congregation and speaks in a manner that can resonate with anyone from a weekly church goer to people like us who are not frequent attendees. Beautiful interior, I'm not religious but I appreciate that it's a beautiful building inside and out, well worth a visit.
