What visitors say

The pastor was wonderful, the assistant working with us was such a delight. She made sure that we were extremely comfortable during our memorial service. I'm very grateful for this free and accepting church. Thankful that we could all come together and say goodbye to a friend. Diverse and close knit and yet open and welcoming. The liturgy and and music reflects a commitment to honor the traditions of the United Church of Christ while engaging in the emerging and shifting community that exists in Hyde Park. The worship is really relaxed for everyone involved. Great young Pastor who cares and keeps down conflict! Like most churches don't! Great members like Mr. & Mrs. Karen Fields dedicated members who are down to earth and Great people ! Friendly church Very diverse church. A unique format for Sunday service was pretty cool. Pastor Julian and his staff are very nice. I love their focus on social justice. If you call this place and ask them when do they have clothes or house items for sale, you will love what you will find for some great prices. I think is the first week or the second week of every month.
