What visitors say
This church was home from the moment I walked through the door. The pastors are so welcoming and open. I have had many wonderful discussions with pastor Lori about previous church experiences. They are forever learning, forever growing. This church is where you come to explore your faith. "We won't come if we can't go" one disability advocate once said, and while there are a few accessibility glitches, they are being addressed, and everyone is accommodating within those boundaries. The recent restroom renovations are fabulous, so come where you can go (or you can stay home because on-line is also available). I have had the pleasure of preaching and teaching here off and on and could not think of a more welcoming and Jesus-like place. An amazing community of open and affirming people with big hearts and an open mind. If you've been looking for a church that accepts you unconditionally wherever you are on your journey, this is the place. Your race, sexual orientation, or doubt are welcomed here with a warm embrace. Lori and Becca, the primary and associate pastor are terrific leaders of this church. In an age of secularism, St. Peter's is a hug in an ocean of uncertainty. St. Peter’s is truly welcoming, open, and affirming. I’ve felt supported and loved both as an individual and spiritually from my first visit onward. This is a church that certainly does walk the walk! Very welcoming, lots of community outreach! My Twins' club meets here, and in the face of tragedy the pastor put together a grief session for us to process and remeber one of our own. Definitely living Christian values here!
