I was looking for a church that I felt a connection with, and New Horizon was the one. The pastor and entire congregation made me feel welcome. There is a tremendous feeling of peace when I walk through the door. The pastor's message is on point and teaches me the word of God. Have been going for years, good honest biblically based teachings, no filters, the raw word of God as shown. In a world full of confusion and twisted truths, this church is a breath of fresh air. The building is not filled with a perfect congregation, nor is it led by perfect teachers and Pastors. But, if you are searching for groups of people who genuinely desire to LIVE and BEHAVE in a manner that glorifies God, desire to hear teaching and preaching that challenges the hearer to study God's Word and Ways, and exalts Jesus Christ as the Son of God, then this is the place for you! The worship music is amazing! It's just the right amount of volume, mixture, and presentation. It's not too loud, it's not a concert, it's not too stuffy. It's just right. The preaching is even better, it's nice to have a preacher who's not afraid to talk about sin and the need for repentance. Pastor Carl speaks Gods word. The TRUTH, he doesnt sugarcoat it. Friendly people. I love my Church. Definitely a great safe house. You feel Gods presence when you walk in the door.
