Pastor Simmons is serious about teaching and preaching God's Word! He is serious about God's Word as his paramount responsibility. The teaching shows up in the church family and leadership. Berean is not a place for foolishness. No silly churchy nonsense or unanswered questions here. I can't attend on Sundays but make certain to attend on Wednesdays for Bible study. I sent many of my own family to Berean. I find the leadership training to be better and more insightful than seminary education! Well done good and faithful servants. This is a bit old but I attended two Sunday services back in 2007 while training for federal employment. It was the most enjoyable 2 to 3 hour services I have ever attended. The gospel preaching was spot on and the music was as I would have envisioned in heaven. Loved the people and felt bad I couldn't take a couple up on their offer of dinner due to other committments. I pray you stay strong in the Lord. I post this out of respect for all! Preaching the Gospel, the personality of Yeshua Hamachiac, is merely proclaiming the Good News! All born again believers are ministers of reconciliation, reconciling mankind back to Elohim, through Jesus Christ, by preaching the gospel. Preaching is not just being on a stage in front of people on Sundays, but is also laboring in the vinyard where the harvest/souls are, in stores, on the job, neighborhoods, fitness centers, parking lots, etc... without a microphone, no screaming and hollering. Preaching does not mean a person is called to be a pastor either. All leaders in the Body of Yeshua are to make disciples as in Matthew 28:19,20, not bench warmers. Most leaders of these churches are not doing the will of God, according to the Scriptures If it was just for men to preach the Gospel, well, there would be a lack of laborers. Most folks don't come and ain't coming to a building called a church. I heard your teaching about women preachers, however, what about the teachings on how godly women are to dress according to the Scripture? Are the seasoned women teaching the younger women, and girls according to the Scriptures? Will you teach about marriage/divorce/remarriage, and folks living in adulterous marriages, who may or may not know this? Also, when do the saints get a chance to share their testimonies, as opposed to maybe 1-2 within a year? The gifts of the Spirit are not functioning in this church, nor are the women allowed to prophecy and pray in public per 1 Corinthians 11. And this Pastor stated a few months ago, 'it does not matter how you dress'. Thank you. The best no nonsense Bible preaching standing on the word church ever. Pastor Simmons pulls no Punches gives you the word according to the scriptures and not his opinions. If you want the truth this is where you need to be. Great place to Get Spiritual upliftment l went to this Berean when l first moved to lndianapolis and later on l got my Youngest Daughter Baptized there and Currently still go to Berean Every other Sunday.The Church Members are so kind and Welcoming❤️ 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
