Wonderful Baptist church. Very Bible centered. Great variety of classes and programs for all ages and ranges. Services are translated into many languages live and several languages also available to read online. Live streaming also for most services. On going activities during the week as well. Great church! Great school! My child thrived in her first year. My only complaint is that they took the fact that we praise in private, and wouldn’t let our child in the next year. After letting her graduate kindergarten and giving her a “you’ve been promoted to first grade at colonial” paper. They waited until after school was out to let us know she couldn’t come back(our child was not a problem kid, the only reason she couldn’t come back was because we didn’t go to church every week). So we basically scrambled to find a new school, had to explain to our 6yo why she couldn’t go back to her old school with her friends, because they didn’t want to give us an official heads up. There was a concerning teacher issue during our child’s first year, and we looked past it because we felt they handled it well. I’m glad they handled that well, forgiveness IS imperative. But to have so much grace in one situation and then depriving a child of a good Christian upbringing because they didn’t make it to church every week when sometimes work just doesn’t allow for that ? Is very upsetting. The Bible talks a lot about how the youth are our future. And how Jesus talked and played with kids when others didn’t. Failing our children fails our future.. I hope the next person who comes in new gets a little more grace then we did. Or can make it to church every week. Our children, Steve, Holly and family attend Colonial and also work at and attend the school. We've been visiting from Florida, on vacation for quite a few years. We've made many friends through the years and always feel at home when we visit. We love Pastor Phelps and the sweet spirit of the congregation with each visit. We are thankful that our children and their family have such a wonderful church and school to attend and work at...✝️Pastor Jim & Hope Vail...Florida⛱️ We love this church! We have 4 kids and they are all involved in the children and teen ministries, and love every minute. My husband and I love the small group Sunday school classes and the great preaching from Pastor Phelps. Our kids are also privileged to attend the school which is also excellent. We have made so many wonderful friends here, the church as a whole is loving and friendly. We love it here! So glad to have finally found a Church home. Everyone is SO friendly and welcoming. Immediately they knew we were visitors, even at a Church this size, and we so accommodating, gregarious, and eager to help. My family and I are so excited to be connected to such a loving place of worship.
