i’m a freshman in merge currently, and ever since i first came to the church back in december 2023, everyone was super welcoming. i do online so i didn’t have many ways to socialize, in the months i’ve went here, i’ve made a lot of friends and have felt closer to God! i appreciate everyone at grace including staff, small group leaders, my friends, etc. i truly don’t believe i would be where i am today in my faith journey without grace and everyone associated with it! if you’re looking for a church home, this is a great place to go! This is by far one of my favorite places. My family and I love spending time here. We've been attending for about 9 years, and we started volunteering very soon after we started coming. I highly recommend getting plugged in quickly, both with a Rooted group or small group as well as volunteering. Those 2 things will very quickly make a big place feel much smaller and like family. The people here are great, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the teaching and worship are superb. My husband and I volunteer in multiple roles in Production Arts, and it is always the highlight of our month (and we love picking up extra weekends). I love the leadership here - they are great, committed people, who work hard, who care a whole ton, and who are very good at what they do. I also love that Grace has a value for the arts, and especially theatre - we do a play or musical every year, usually alternating between very large productions and somewhat smaller ones. But the quality of them is just amazing - I don't think a single year goes by without somebody coming up and saying they've been to Broadway, and this is just as good. The staff in both Production and theatre related are just top-notch at what they do - highly trained and very skilled. My husband and I love helping with theatre as well. You can usually find us as backstage crew and helping build and paint the set. Our kids are still small, but they love Grace, and are already learning about volunteering and being a committed part of something bigger than just us. Making a high impact on helping the community. Many outreach programs and wonderful people! Stopped going here after 20 + years. They started talking about money every servic and started bringing politics into chur. Started to not feel like you are going to church. Decided to try Grace again during covid, that was a mistake. Brought 2 people with me that have never went to church before. But they were both going through a rough time. So i Brought them to Grace church. The church was almost empty, the closest person was 40 ft away from us, 5 minutes in after being there we were kicked out because we didn't have mask on and escorted out by police.... keep in mind this was both their 1st time going to church and both and iv invited them both way before this and after this. They have not been back. With that being said, when you are standing infront of God on Judgment day and he ask why these people are not in his kingdom, Id love to hear what you say! Anyone reading this, go try a different church, lots of Great churches in the area. I attend Grace most Sundays. I was admittedly reluctant to attend church, as a child the church we went to was boring and slow and I never enjoyed it. When my parents divorced when I was a young teen I felt the church made my family feel unloved and unwelcome in a way I didnt understand. I'm glad I gave going back to church a chance and for choosing Grace. We may sit towards the back but that doesn't stop us from feeling the warm, welcoming embrace of the staff and congregation. I often get emotional during worship and hang on to every word of the message. This church will make you feel at home, make you feel God's presence and will help brighten your week. Even those unsure of what they believe or those with many doubts (like myself) will leave here with a sense of faith and a sense of hope. Great job Grace, I'm proud to be a tiny part of your story!
