We drove by this Church so many times and my son would always say he wanted to visit. We visited for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it! We were greeted and there was one lady who walked us where we needed to go, she was so sweet. The childcare staff was incredible, the praise and worship was excellent, and the service was exactly what I needed. We will be going back! Plainfield Christian Church is outstanding Pastor Luke is amazing and has awesome messages, the presence of Jesus and God are definitely felt here. Everyone is very friendly. If I could give you guys a 0 star I would. We are looking for a new Church because we just moved here. You guys literally talked about giving for a full hour. NOTHING else. You mentioned your goal of 20 million several times. Then the lady gave her "Testimony" and how God told her a number to give and her husband was told a different number. God told her to give both numbers because her assets were not included. She Literally didnt mention Jesus once. You know in the Bible where Jesus flipped tables because his Father's house was turned into a "den of thieves" that's you. The 2 scriptures you shared in an hour were totally taken out of context and you twisted it to make it about giving. One of those scriptures was "Love your neighbor as yourself" that passage has absolutely NOTHING to do with giving. Your message was literally if you dont give your not being loving towards your neighbor. Thats disgusting and very manipulative. Any Church that doesn't hyper focus on the LIFE death and Resurrection of JESUS. RUN FAST. This was so sad. And on the way out I shared my concers with someone at the front. She looked at me like I had 10 heads and didn't even attempt to explain anything about the church or correct me if I was wrong. WHY? because im not and that is what you guys stand for 20 million on a building that needs no upgrades. If I were a new Christian, unbeliever, or wasn't knowledgeable in scripture I would literally never go to Church again after that. But I do know scripture and I will tell you this..you are literally doing the opposite of what the Bible says to do. I love this church, if you love to listen practical teaching then this is the right place. Pastor Luke and other pastors are wonderful! The Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and well-prepared. The people were friendly and very courteous. When the weather warms up, I may be able to attend services.
