Myself and the kids enjoy this church ! The kids literally remind me almost everyday that on Sunday we are going to church! Pastor Ben and Shelly are wonderful people and make you feel at home. Everyone is amazing Great atmosphere, great place to begin your spiritual journey or continue it. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The church also tries to be involved in the community. Its a smaller church but it provides a big impact. I have been attending the church for over a year now and I am proud to be a part it, to see it grow and how it continues to impact people's lives for the better. intimate setting. I truly enjoyed the teaching style & could feel Christ love in atmosphere. Was looking for diversity & found just that here. Just small enough to not be overwhelmed. Hearts pure as gold here. Capital City Church is a small but vibrant church body that seeks to honor service in Christ while serving local residents in Baton Rouge. I was seeking a bible focused church where I am not just another pew sitter on Sunday, but rather an active member of advancing Christ's call to us in Mathew 28. I welcome you to come and check out an upcoming Sunday service, I have know Ben and Shelly for almost 10 years now. They are two of the best Christ followers I know, and I can’t think of better couple to plant a church in Baton Rouge! I would highly recommend Capital City Church if you live in the Baton Rouge area or surrounding regions!
