We loved our time worshipping with the saints of Tremont Temple Baptist Church. Visiting from out of town, we looked for a faithful, gospel preaching church. We were greeted by the loving saints of Tremont. Located within a beautiful old theater, the congregation exhibited a beautiful gospel diversity. It was beautiful to see a range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and ethnicities united by the grace of redemption in Jesus Christ. The music was a faithful blend of old and contemporary hymns, including a special, 4 part harmony song lead by some members of the congregation. The preaching was faithful and expositional. I was encouraged by the pastor’s message through both his explanation of the meaning of the text yet also his thoughtful application to living the Christian life. It was a joy to be with these people, and it saddened me to leave them. If you are in Boston and you want to know what Christianity is really all about, if you want to experience a faithful church, if you want to be apart of a faithful, gospel congregation look no further than Tremont Temple Baptist Church. To God be the glory! This church is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. Please understand that only maintenance has been done for upkeep, I don’t believe it’s handicap friendly (didn’t check this sorry!) but wow! You walk in and kept help but just stare and look up. Came here for a conference and I’m excited and hopeful to comeback again and explore more! If you are considering going to church, Tremont Temple Baptist Church, is a biblically faithful congregation grounded on the authority of scripture. The sermons are expository, taught verse by verse, of sound doctrine, avoiding the tickling of ears you are likely to find at so many other ‘churches’ in the local area. We enjoyed warm fellowship with other believers during our visit from New Mexico. The history of the church and building are also fascinating, and worth digging into. Highly recommend this church for any believers who love the whole Word of God being preached! Deep theological worship songs, expository sermons, and encouraging fellowship! I was a visitor here for one week and knew this church would be one I’d attend if I lived near the area. While not exuding the warm and welcoming ambiance of some other churches, its imposing presence exudes a sense of historical significance. The architectural design reflects a unique character, setting it apart from traditional Episcopal or Lutheran churches. As an observer, I admired its distinct style and appreciated the glimpse into Boston's diverse religious landscape. Despite not meeting certain expectations, the Tremont Temple Baptist Church leaves a lasting impression, adding to the city's architectural tapestry and historical charm.
