C&A feels like home where everyone is always welcome. A great place to learn to love God, the city and the people of the city! Pastor Josh and emily are great leaders with indepth understanding of the word with simple explanation and easy application. Love the worship here! And love the social media content that they put out! They also have baby/kids ministry. Follow them on Insta/Fb/Youtube! Love this church right in the downtown of Detroit. Pastor Josh loved this city and his people. Beautifully diverse & great music. Check this church out! A welcoming church establishment. Modern, contemporary, family-oriented, and feels safe. Located on the Milwaukee Junction in Detroit. Provides two services and a children's church service, plus other events and services during the week. Gives the vibe of "come as you are". Their mission truly is to support Detroit, and I appreciate their values in helping the homeless and providing mission trips to countries around the world. They have online and in-person services, so you can participate in your capacity. They also have their own praise and worship album! Appreciate the transparency of the pastors and keeping attendees abreast of future goals for the church establishment. If you want a community space where you are not judged, that is diverse in all backgrounds and is family-oriented, I suggest this space for you. Jacob and I found C&A in March of 2023 after moving to Milwaukee Junction area. C&A was right down the street from us so we enjoyed being able to walk there! We were welcomed in by Josh and Emily and some other leaders on our first visit. Pastor Josh even prayed with us. After attending for over a year, we’ve definitely made C&A our home church. I would definitely recommend checking it out. You won’t be disappointed! Finding a church can be hard and scary but being surrounded by people who all love Jesus is easy! Love Cross & Anchor and what they are doing in Detroit. A great community who loves everyone! They teach the Bible and the sermons are relevant and applicable. They also feature different pastors or worship leaders from other churches from time to time. The worship is awesome, too!
