We loved the history of this church. It was absolutely a beautiful building. I had a awesome experience here. After a conference, I walked over to Tommy’s. The staff was amazing and the vibe was perfect. Feels like old Detroit. Which I really liked. The monster burger plus half a salad and a labatt blue on draft was more than a guy could eat! And very good. The Christmas performance of Handel's Messiah is an annual tradition for as long as I can remember They serve a good lunch every day for people that need food. They also will let you have your mail delivered there if you have nowhere else to have it delivered. And helpers are all really nice to you. I give it two thumbs up. I got a referral from DES to go to their clothing closet. The "service" was so good that I felt like I was... SHOPPING! They didn't treat me like a poor man getting free stuff. I want to go back one Sunday & checkout their services.
