It's the first church I felt the holy Spirit at. The first church the pastor gave me money when I needed it. It's very welcoming. Very encouraging. And helps me have a relationship with Jesus Christ. I will always have a special place in my heart for motor City Church. If you have a true desire to grow in your relationship with God, this is an excellent community of believers. A younger man randomly asked if he could pray with me. The Lead Pastor preaches the word with precision and gives the application, reflective, and bold in every way. The praise and worship is a throne room experience full of anointed ecclesia.. The risen Lord of all creation is worshipped, exalted, and lifted high. I love this extension of the body of Christ. I've actually been praying for this group for awhile. Every time I'm there I see believers from every tribe and nation and breaking barriers!!! I highly recommend this church with all my heart. Instant love!! Feeling of " Home-MyBros.and Sisters",I belong and I'll grow In My Faith and Maturity. Pastor Dhockey is truly Anointed For Service, for Teaching Glory Amen. A sister in Christ Jesus... Did not make it beyond security. The greeter were welcoming, but at the entrance being greeted by police officers in uniform, going through your bags and purses then unto a metal detector/scanner is not welcoming. If you are going to have such you should also invest in a lockbox so the law abiding citizens that are legally carrying can at least secure safely their CC. Also you might want to put up a sign that you are a gunfree zone. I was not going to walk back to my car which is in a garage block over, to secure my weapon and then walk back. Love this church! Pastor Josh and all the volunteers are so welcoming. But most of all, he brings the Word! Straight from the Bible! It’s never what he says, but always what the word of God says. No tickled ears here. Just love, grace, and truth. ✝️
