Inspiring worship and powerful preaching ignited a sense of purpose within me this morning. I felt revitalized and empowered. Thank you to the Pastor and the Ascend Church MI team for fostering a welcoming community that nurtures spiritual growth and preaches The Word of God. I truly believe God has guided me to a place to plant my roots. Thank you Jesus! 🙏 Baptism on my first visit! This is my family, I’m grateful I was led here May God continue to have his hand over our church in Jesus name I've been to MANY churches in my life, but I've never met such welcoming, kind, loving people anywhere else. The services are always encouraging, which in turn, makes me want to go back again. Sunday during 11 am service I witnessed two very sad things. FIRST I saw a lady standing up in front row during prayer that started crying out loud. I could tell by the rawness of her cry's that she was suffering. Even though she had some friends or family around her I felt like wrapping my arms around her and telling everything is going to be okay. SECOND sad thing was that pastor J was trying to ignore and talk over her like he was annoyed. It infuriated me that the pastor(s) didn't even acknowledge this poor lady. I mean she was in pain and seemed to of cared less. I REALLY BELIEVE if the pastor would have stopped everything and consoled this woman it would have been a better life lesson on how to truly love and care for another one of gods children. I TOLD MY WIFE WE WON'T BE GOING BACK TO THAT CHURCH!!! This is a place where you can worship the Lord, and feel like family always! I highly recommend if you live in the area or close by to go out and visit this church I promise you won't regret it.
