What visitors say

I went to this church and fell in love with it. As a transgender person, I was very, very highly appreciated, respected, treated. With kindness thoughtfulness, respect all around the congregation is very nice. Then, baptized, there. I'm getting married there. I'm a member now. There just an awesome church. If you aint been there, you should go. If you really want a place where there's no judging and people treat you like god and jesus wants you to be treated, this is the church two go to hugs Amen . love kelli This church’s decision to display a Pride and BLM flag is one of the most Christ-like things I’ve seen. Jesus constantly reached out to those who were excluded, marginalized, and judged harshly by religious leaders. He showed radical love and welcome, saying: “A new commandment I give you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” (John 13:34) Flying a Pride flag and a BLM flag isn’t about “promoting sin”—it’s about promoting love and welcome. It says everyone is invited to experience God’s grace without fear of rejection. The Bible is clear that judgment belongs to God alone: “Who are you to pass judgment on servants of another? It is before their own lord that they stand or fall.” (Romans 14:4) This church is living out Christ’s call to love their neighbors as themselves (James 2:8), refusing to show partiality or exclusion (James 2:9). If more churches followed this example—truly opening their doors and hearts to all people without condemnation—I think the world would see a much truer picture of Jesus’ love. I admire a church that shows the entire community and all the people in it the love of Christ. Jesus said let those without sin cast the first stone. Jesus spent his time with the marginalized and embraced them with love. It was the Pharisees that he chastised the most for their rigidness, legalism, judgement and hypocrisy. I have just found out about this church due to some very unfortunate recent vandalism, and I plan to attend one of their services as soon as I am able. Thank you, CWCC for being a beacon of light in the community. Please continue spreading Jesus' gospel of love and forgiveness. We were in town for Christmas and attended the Christmas Eve service. The congregation was lovely and we really enjoyed worshipping there. We would attend again when next in town! This church is amazing. It follows the teachings of Jesus, it is welcoming to all. We are an open and affirming congregation, who shares the love of Christ with all, regardless of where they are on their journey. This church does not require you to check your brain at the door and follow blindly. If you are looking for a church that is trying to live it's faith, not just preach it, give us a try.
