Pastors are down to earth and the church is small enough to get to talk to them and get to know them. They're very gospel focused and focused on helping ordinary people get to know an extraordinary God. I've been here 13 years and have seen the church make a lot of really great choices over the years. Choices like planting several churches without any benefit back to the main church. There are two other church locations but they have autonomy to operate pretty independently. I love that selfless attitude to live out the mission called upon the church to plant new churches and to not worry about losing key members to new church plants which means a loss of culture and donations. It's a testament to the dedication and character of the leadership at Hope. I really enjoyed the services on Sundays! I love it how Hope CC goes through each verse and explains them, and gives context! My small groups were always nice and the people were friendly. It does take a while for you to feel like part of the community. Just give it time to develop and get involved and make the effort to get to know everyone. I don't go here anymore since my commute was a hassel since I moved. But I recommend if you have a car or you live near transportation or you live near by the church. Great community focused church known for its involvement in assisting local communities. A welcoming facility with one EPIC painted bus inspiring artists of all kind to pursue their dreams. #JustPaintIt #CreativeSouls I started attending Hope the very first Sunday of my freshman year of college. The first service that I attended, I knew this church was different, and just what I needed! Hope focuses on emphasizing the importance of scripture and how the Gospel is evident throughout the Bible. Now, almost 7 years in, Hope has become my home and I am so thankful for all that Hope has added to my life! At Hope I am blessed to be a part of a loving community - both in my small group and through the Young Adults Ministry (YAM)! Forever grateful for Hope and the way I have been pointed to Jesus! If you're looking for a church that is rooted in scripture and is based in theology, this is your place. All of the pastors are great preachers and are always dissecting the bible in ways I never thought to. I love it when preaching is based in strong theology so we have a clear understanding of the whole picture when looking at scripture. The worship is amazing as well! It's basically all hymns, modernized by their worship leader Tim. It's extremely well done and a joy to worship to. If you're looking for a new church, you need to come and try Hope Community Church. You won't regret it!
