Genuine and authentic. A church that’s led by the Holy Spirit. Worship isn’t a rock concert, just an invitation to stand in his presence and to come as you are. Pastor is very scripture based and doesn’t deviate into a storytelling personal interpretation. Their iPhone app actually gives you free access to the audio version of the Bible. Community outreach is strong and missionary work impactful. Can’t recall hearing anything regarding asking to tithing and feeling pressured, but give you the opportunity to do so. Might be lacking on things like men’s groups and weekly connections, but still 6/5 stars. I have been coming to Life Church since Jan and Love the absolute genuine family love that this church shows to all. Their heart is for people to have a real encounter with Jesus every week and allow the Truth of God's Word to have the final say in our lives. Teaching is on point and always points to our relationship with Jesus and not our own tryings. Quite a vibrant church with no airs. “Come just as you are” principle was evident. Though I was only visiting, this is the kind of church I wouldn’t have minded being a part of. I enjoyed the worship and music and the friendliness of the people. The only missing link is the lack of diversity in the church. A friend was trying to convince me to have faith the other day. I was absolutley sure it was impossible that ive seen to much to disprove his existence. Then she said Not to sound any way except sincere, you've met me... But you should give Jesus a try 🤷 what do you have to lose? If you were to pray and ask hlHim to reveal himself to you, He will. He literally died (not wanting to) for us before we were a thought. Cry out, scream, cuss him, ask questions, whatever He'll accept it! So i was having a bad day i decided to try it. I prayed for him to reveal himself. The next day my father kivked me out of his truck. 15 miles from home. My mom who is now separayed from him wouldnt come get me. I walked for an hour i sat out front a dollar tree with no food water. This lady asked if i was homeless i said no but not far from it. Then she comes back with a back pack full of oddly specific note cards and items i need. Then i suddenly had the chills now almost 32 i believe their is a god. Without this back pack i feel i would not have been able to walk home thank you fir giving me faith godbless We've been going for around 6 years and this place is absolutely home away from home... Love these people like family 🩶
